Summary

Patrick Industries is seeking an accomplished and ambitious Sales Representative to join our growing Industrial team in the Southern California market. This person will be coming into a hot market, established territory, and receive one-on-one training from an industry expert! A successful Industrial Sales Representative will work with the support of the Inside Sales/Operations team to introduce products to new and existing customers, and foster strong and reliable relationships with the same. As a part of the Patrick Industries team, this person will put the Customers’ needs first and deliver excellence with every interaction. Your attention to detail, organization skills, excellent communication skills, Customer Focus, and follow through on all tasks will drive success within this business segment.

Specific Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative with Patrick Industries, you will be responsible for helping generate sales via new customer development and share gains with existing customers. Within this role you will be responsible for introducing new product lines and solutions to current and new customers to increase sales revenue and drive market momentum forward.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting customer calls to generate sales revenue with a variety of manufactured and distributed panel products to customers producing kitchen cabinets, retail and hospitality fixtures and commercial casework.
  • Meeting or exceed planned sales and margin targets through open communication with Sales Manager and working with Inside Sales Support.
  • Ability to hunt for new prospects and ask for the sale.
  • Staying on task with freedom of working from home office and setting own schedule.

Requirements

  • Proven sales record with specific experience in industrial panel sales markets with large account experience preferred.
  • Ability to conduct customer calls to generate sales revenue which will meet or exceed plan targets.
  • Strong, professional communication skills, written and oral.
  • Ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • High motivation with ability to work independently to achieve sales goals.
  • Must be well organized and driven to achieve success.
  • Ability to delegate sales support related projects and tasks from beginning to end and see that they get accomplished in a timely manner.
  • Assure proper processing of customer orders, product costing, pricing and quote generation in conjunction with Customer Service for the Business Unit.
  • Established industry relationships a plus
