Summary

Patrick Industries is seeking a Project Manager to add to their growing Engineering Team. Patrick Industries is a manufacturer of building materials that can be applied in the RV and Manufactured Home industry, as well as industrial and commercial applications.

 

In this role, the Project Manager will work closely with the Engineering and Sales Departments to quote and organize projects.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Read and analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
  • Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
  • Consult with the Engineering and Sales Departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
  • Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work

Requirements

  • Capable of reading large set blue prints
  • Cabinet, Millwork, Casework design and/or estimating experience is mandatory
  • Ability to work in in a fast paced environment with the ability to change priorities as needed
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in terms of being clear, concise, and professional with the ability to work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines with changing priorities and work independently with little to no oversight
  • Strong accountability and follow-through skills
