Patrick Industries Corporate Office is seeking a highly motivated individual to add to their growing Environmental, Health and Safety Department. The EHS Coordinator will work under the Direction of the Environmental, Health and Safety Director to grow their knowledge and gain experience while working with Safety Teams, different Business Units and other EHS Coordinators to continue the goal of establishing and maintaining an effective EHS culture within the facilities.

Specific Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to;


  • Assisting in creating and the implementation of EHS programs, policies and procedures throughout the company and adjust programs and procedures accordingly
  • Work with multiple Business Units and communicate issues to the proper parties professionally with solutions to issues
  • Act as a resource for the sharing of regulatory requirements and best practices within Business Units
  • Lead safety related audits as needed
  • Ensure proper records are being kept and reports ae created as required
  • Review EHS concerns, safety committee recommendations, and audits to help ensure closure of identified issues
  • Assisting with accident investigations and entering first report of injury throughout the company and assisting as needed with; creating corrective action plans and follow up on various claims
  • Working with insurance carriers to progress the claim forward for the benefit of all parties involved
  • Working with team members to complete Workers Compensation files
  • Reviewing OSHA logs for proper compliance
  • Other daily administrative and reporting tasks as assigned




  • 2 year degree required / 4 year degree desired in Environmental, Health and Safety or other related field or certification is required
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills including honestly and integrity as a required skill
  • Must have strong organizational skills with focused attention to detail  
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.  
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities throughout the day
  • Ability to learn and embrace specific order management procedures and to follow policies and procedures related to Workers Compensation along with the required OSHA guidelines
  • Proficient in report writing, documentation and record keeping
  • Must be comfortable speaking in front of large or small groups
  • Assist with coordination of safety and training programs for all employees within the business unit.
  • Possible overnight travel up to 10% for training, educational, ect.
