The Progressive Group, a Division of Patrick Industries, is seeking an entry level, Part-Time Warehouse employee located in Troy, Michigan. The schedule for this role is 1:00pm-5:30pm Monday thru Friday. The employee will report to the warehouse branch manager and will be responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records of shipments and orders and for keeping a clean, safe work environment.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in the merchandise
  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders
  • Pull materials and orders for shipping
  • Pack boxes for shipping and placing the boxes in the delivery area
  • Sort and organize materials or items around the warehouse
  • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock orders, printing requests, and recording the amount of inventory in and out of the warehouse
  • Help with maintaining a clean and safe working environment by keeping all warehouse stations neat
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment



  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Must pay attention to detail and have a strong work ethic

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to lift and move objects ranging from 5-60 lbs.
