  • Summary

    Gravure Ink, a Division of Patrick Industries is a leading supplier of printed wall vinyl to the Manufactured Housing and RV Industries and is currently hiring an Outside Sales Representative. The Outside Sales Representative will work closely with the Director of Design and Sales Manager to grow Sales, maintain current customers and continue putting the Customer 1st in everyday business.

     

    From the initial bidding on jobs, to the follow up on delivery of the completed order, in this role, the Sales Representative will be the essential link between the customer, Patrick Sales team, and our manufacturing operations located in Illinois from start to finish.  Your attention to detail, organization skills, excellent communication skills, Customer Focus, and follow through on all tasks will drive success within this business segment. 

    Specific Responsibilities

    Some of the responsibilities include:

    • Visiting Customers to build relationships
    • Initial quoting and bids
    • Placing purchase orders, tracking and following up on inbound material, and communicating lead times of material to Patrick’s Sales Team.
    • Working closely with the Manufacturing Team to ensure the scheduling of production will meet the Customer’s Request Date, including the prioritization of customers and jobs when necessary

    Requirements

     

    • Proven sales record with specific experience in RV or Manufacturing, with large account experience.
    • Ability to conduct customer calls to generate sales revenue which will meet or exceed plan targets.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers
    • High motivation with ability to work independently to achieve sales goals
    • Must be well organized and driven to achieve success
    • Ability to complete sales related projects and tasks from beginning to end and see that they get accomplished in a timely manner
    • Must be able to manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
    • Conduct customer inventories to assure fulfillment of the supply chain
    • Assure proper processing of customer orders, product costing, pricing and quote generation in conjunction with Customer Service for the Business Unit
    • Working experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel
    • Established industry relationships a plus
