  • Summary

    Interior Components Plus, a Division of Patrick Industries, located in Elkhart, IN, is seeking to hire a multi-talented Production Scheduler to their Scheduling team! In addition to serving the RV/MH industry, Interior Components Plus has consistently grown their product offering to the Industrial and Commercial markets as well.

    Specific Responsibilities

    The Production Scheduler will work closely with different departments including Sales, Management, Production, and Customer Service to create and prioritize production jobs and machines according to Customer Needs and changing deadlines. The Production Scheduler will work as a Liaison between Sales and Production to create incoming jobs.


    • Define, develop and document the production scheduling process. 
    • Conduct assessments and make recommendations to management on scheduling systems, scheduling techniques, and approaches consistent with Production Management System and lean manufacturing methods. 
    • Maintain information databases to ensure timely and accurate information is used to establish meaningful production schedules. 
    • Communicate schedule information to all departments and relays schedule changes and/or delays to the necessary personnel.
    • Troubleshoots bottlenecks and adjusts schedule accordingly to keep order shipments on time.  Provide timely schedule feedback for Customer Service and Operations Management.
    • Recommends scheduling strategies to help alleviate capacity constraints.
    • Other duties as may be assigned.


    • Candidates must have 1+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX, or similar software
    • 1+ years’ experience working as a scheduler in a manufacturing environment
    • Must be able to conduct self in a positive and professional manner
    • Ability to prioritize work tasks, multi-task, set prioritize and stay focused
    • Must be able to work in a team environment but work with little supervision and little direction
    • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
    • Must have 1+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Office Suite 2013 and newer versions
    • Must have 2+ years’ experience with inventory control
