    Adorn Custom Vinyls, a Division of Patrick Industries is seeking a Human Resource Manager to support their growing Business Unit located in Elkhart, Indiana in all facets related to Human Resources. Under the direction of the Business Unit Director, the HR Manager will act as a partner to the 350+ Employees and Leadership Team throughout Adorn Custom Vinyls to successfully support all components of HR functions for their location.

    Specific Responsibilities

    Working closely with the Leadership Team, the HR Manager is responsible for providing new and creative ideas to add value and influence to Custom Vinyls. Candidates should have the ability to successfully manage all components of the Human Resource generalist functions so they may help guide and support issues when they arise. The position will have a high floor presence to be able to interact daily with production employees as well as acting also as a strategic partner. He or she will be responsible for management platforms within the Business Unit that include, but are not limited to: day to day performance management, talent management and workforce planning.


    Other job responsibilities will include:

    • Act as a point of contact for employees to resolve HR related issues and opportunities 
    • When needed, create and counsel employees with performance improvement plans
    • Source, recruit, interview and hire candidates in a growing facility
    • Leading onboarding of new employees
    • Development of new programs for turnover reduction, talent development, engagement, and other like-trainings
    • Execute talent plans determined by executive leadership to include internal talent development
    • Review and adapt Attendance Policy and other existing policies
    • Serve as support for Management and Supervisors with employee relations
    • Lead investigations
    • Will be responsible for direct report(s); HR Administrator(s)
    • Auditing the payroll process for completion
    • Will participate in Layer Process Auditing in the Adorn Production System


    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline 3 to 5+ years of Human Resource generalist experience
    • Candidates must have a dynamic personality with the ability to work and communicate effectively with hourly employees to senior management
    • Those with experience in manufacturing are highly desired
    • Ability to bring strategic thought leadership while providing strong execution of detailed departmental functions 
    • Proven ability to create and sustain change
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Possess a high standard of attention to detail 
    • A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities 
    • The ability to produce innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the Business Unit’s daily functions 
    • The ability to work independently in a busy environment with changing daily priorities 
    • Strong accountability and follow-through skills 
    • Flexibility and foresight to balance engagement and the business needs
    • Bilingual is a plus
